My name is Kirsten Yeates. I m a professional designer with a love for both art and visual problem solving.
In 2007, I teamed up with another designer to create Pear and Peony, a business of creativity and art, focused on environmentally-friendly package design, stationary and custom graphic design. Our projects have been commissioned for a variety of events, from small weddings to large exhibitions in New York City. Since starting Pear and Peony, I’ve done work on a local and national scale and worked with clients ranging from Vogue magazine to a local organic farm.
I have nearly 12 years of professional design experience and have been traditionally educated in fine art, graphic design and photography. I’ve created visuals for big and small projects, from billboard campaigns to personal stationary. I am well-versed in illustration work, package design, business and product identity, web design, and social media.
I have been employed as a full-time designer for a national publishing company, enjoyed managing several monthly magazines simultaneously, and had some fun creating mastheads and layouts for contract accounts. My experience also includes ipublic sector outreach, managing graphics and visual branding for a statewide agency that reaches more than 60,000 people each year.
I’d love to hear about your project and work to transform your ideas into a beautiful reality!
